Peepul in the Making - The Final Cut
Phoenix Arts Centre, 4.30pm, Saturday 26th February.
To celebrate the end of the Peepul in the Making project, we are screening
5 films created by participants on the project, including a premiere of their new short film, 2nd Floor and the web project that goes alongside it. This will be a chance to find out more about the project, meet the participants, and discuss the films.
Peepul in the Making is a nine month project that is facilitated by Active Ingredient, a Nottingham based digital arts and streaming media company, for the Peepul Centre, Leicester. Peepul in the Making is an innovative project that works with a diverse group of people from Leicester's community and merges professional development, creative processes, with film and new media skills.
Through a weekly course the group have created and produced a series of films, more information and an online preview of their films can be viewed at http://www.peepulinthemaking.co.uk/
